Growing up I listened to a lot of grunge music. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains were all on repeat in my discman. Even visiting the Pacific Northwest as a kid I always felt a connection. The ocean and tall pine forests would call out when the music faded. It’s a place I always look forward to visiting and exploring.
